So I was chattin’ with one of the leaders of re:charge and we were trying to figure out if “re:charge” was really the best name for what we are trying to do. I was thinking about how adequate “Passion” is as a name for the Louie Giglio-led ministry. Passion describes the college-aged, worship-fueled, God-hungry ministry that it truly is. This led me to think about how we “define” the 2nd Generation of Asians in America. Is there really a way to define us? Can we choose an adjective to describe the 2nd Gen Asian experience in America?
It’s been a LONG time coming, but finally we’re several days away from re:charge. I honestly have no idea if people will come and have no idea how well it’s going to go. The fact that it’s for 20-30 somethings, I’d think that some of us old fogies would like to relive our old youth rally days!
